Life At Nature's Pace
Circles for Young Women

Navigating puberty, adolescence, and young adulthood comes with many challenges, both for young girls and their parents. At times both can feel misunderstood and disengaged, but it doesn't have to be that way. What if our young girls could step into womanhood with joy, intentionality and strength? Imagine if they understood the perceptiveness, assertiveness, strength, integrity and wisdom of their bodies. What if our young girls felt empowered to take charge of their own well-being? What if our young girls thrived on this journey, feeling loved, supported, understood and happy?
These circles will provide a safe, comfortable space for young girls to explore and embrace their journey from childhood to young womanhood. Together, with other girls and mentors, girls will learn about themselves and their changing bodies, and empower themselves as they move forward on their journey.
Craft and create. Share and support. Learn and grow. Love and empower. Our circles will be a solid foundation from which young girls can move forward with confidence into young womanhood.

Circle of Sisters is fun, lively and social. We begin with a hike at Long Sault Conservation Area and then head back to my studio for connection and discussion. These gatherings will cultivate self-esteem, self-confidence, and what girls at this age are particularly looking for: a feeling of being heard, understood, loved and held, by a circle of friends and their own families.
